PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (sentinel.ht) - Called in for a special session on Friday by the head of state, deputies will vote on the electoral law that the Senate had already voted on. If they adopt the law in the same terms as the senators, the country will have a new electoral law since that of 2008 and be able to move forward with senatorial and local elections, overdue since November 2011. However, this will not mean a solution to the political crisis, the political opposition wants more than an electoral law.
