LES CAYES, Haiti (defend.ht) - Prime Minister Garry Conille found time on Tuesday to take in the carnival festivities that were taking place in Les Cayes since Sunday, when President Michel Martelly arrived.

With an vast audit on government expenditures and an impending convocation of his ministers on-going, the prime minister made an appearance on the final day of the national event.

President Michel Martelly had enjoyed carnival since Sunday at the opening and the one a week prior in Jacmel.

A rumor of the resignation of the prime minister had circulated on the net but his office affirmed that "no he has not resigned and he will not resign," according to the Haiti Press Network.
